السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته

You are fortunate to have believed in the Promised Messiah عليه السلام .
The purpose of his advent was to create a meaningful awareness about Allah and to draw mankind closer to Allah. He pressed his entire life in pursuit of this objective. Now it is our work to convey his message in an effective way to the people of Uganda. The companions of the Holy Prophet Muhammad صلى ﷲ علىه وسلم serve as our role models because they fulfilled their pledges to remain loyal to him and became the recipients of Allah’s bounties and His grace. Today you are being asked to fulfil the obligations to Allah and His creation. Your sacrifices should be such that others benefit from your lofty example. Your pledge requires you to devote your time, honour and wealth for the sake for your faith, community and country. Do good works and help your fellow human beings. Reform yourselves. Pray regularly, work hard and honestly so that everyone knows that Ahmadis are the best people in the country. So my message to the Khuddam of Uganda is to set very high standards of conduct in your daily lives so that it becomes a trait by which others recognise Ahmadi Muslims. Hold fast to the lifeline that the blessed institution of Khilafat offers because this distinguishes us from the other Muslims. Show absolute obedience to Khilafat and the administration of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at. Only then can the youth be trained and the reformation of the nation established on a sound basis. May Allah bless all Khuddam and enable them to follow the lofty examples of sacrifices set by our noble predecessors. Ameen.

Huzur's Message for National Ijtema 2013

London

22nd July 2013

O Evergreen Saplings of the Promised Messiah عليه السلام

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته

The youth represent the "backbone" of any community: Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya plays this role within the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at. It is the Ahmad Muslim youths who will be the means of leading others towards success and true freedom. To do this, I remind the Khuddam that they must learn about their faith so that you understand your faith and its requirements and you can display the highest moral standards in all aspects of your lives. Only when you strive for such high standards will you be able to paint the true picture of a peaceful Islam for the people of the world. Hadhrat Khalifatul Masih II, may Allah be pleased with him, used to say “A nation cannot be reformed without the reformation of its youth.” This is a great and everlasting guidance and so it is most important that every Ahmadi Muslim youth seeks to always display the highest standards of honesty, integrity and moral virtue. If you are able to improve and reform yourself, it will not only benefit you, but will also be a means of serving your nation and the society in which you live. It is also the duty of every Ahmadi Muslim to understand and assume his or her responsibilities of bringing the world closer to God and of working towards the creation of a peaceful and harmonious society.

Each Ahmadi Muslim ought to always remember that he is representing not only himself, but also the community at large and so his conduct ought always to be exemplary.

O Khuddam of Ahmadiyyat! As you celebrate 75 years of Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya, my message to you is that if you truly wish to attain God’s pleasure, then you should always give precedence to your faith over all world matters. This is part of your pledge. It is your foremost duty to peacefully defend Islam and the blessed character of the Holy Prophet Muhammad   صلى ﷲ علىه وسلم against all attacks directed at them. Guide the world towards peace, tolerance and justice so that it can be saved from destruction.

والسلام

Huzur's Message for National Ijtema 2012

25th August 2012

Message for the Ijtima’a of Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya Uganda due to be held on 31st August 2012

O ye evergreen saplings of the Promised Messiah

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته

Our belief in Hadhrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad of Qadian, the Promised Messiah عليه السلام who truly adored his holy master the Holy Prophet Muhammad صلى ﷲ علىه وسلم , imposes upon us the heavy responsibility spreading the message of Islam and reforming ourselves in such a way that we can bring ourselves and the rest of mankind closer to its Creator.

We should be grateful that we are guided by Khilafat, a great blessing of Allah, and distinguishing hall mark that sets the Ahamdiyya community apart from rest of the Muslims. But in order that this blessing should continue, we must be strict in observance of prayers, honouring our pledges and doing good works to win the pleasure of Allah. Our success lies in holding fast to the rope of Allah and enduring that we adhere to the institution of Khilafat and in our absolute obedience to it and to the Nizam Jama’at. Only by treading the narrow path of Taqwa and without any deviation from this oath can we attain the pleasure of Allah.

I also want the young Khuddam of Uganda to work very hard at their studies. There was a time when the educational institutions of Uganda were the envy of the world and we must work towards becoming the most well-educated citizens of Uganda. I also want all the Khuddam to set very high standards of honesty: honesty in our dealings with each other, in our work or business, and also when dealing with other people

The Khuddamul Ahmadiyya pledge also requires us to sacrifice our time and honour and property for the sake of our faith. If we begin to honour this pledge and remain steadfast in discharging the trusts reposed in us, Allah the Almighty would take care of all our worldly needs. By all means, earn your livelihood in an honest way but at the same time give preference to your faith. Your sacrifices should be such that others benefit from your lofty example.

I pray that this year’s Ijtima’a is a success and enables the participants to strengthen their personal relations with Khalifa of the time. May Allah find you becoming a better Ahmadi Muslims each day. Amin.

Huzur's Message for National Ijtema 2011

27th August 2011

Message for the Ijtima’a of Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya Uganda due to be held between 9 and 11 September 2011

O ye evergreen saplings of the Promised Messiah

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته

Our belief in Hadhrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad of Qadian, the Promised Messiah عليه السلام who truly adored his holy master the Holy Prophet Muhammad صلى ﷲ علىه وسلم , imposes upon us the heavy responsibility of reforming ourselves in such a way that each day finds us engaged in good works that please Allah. Many of you have come to participate in this year’s Ijtima’a and compete in various competitions organized by Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya but before you return to your homes, you must ask yourselves whether you are a better believer than when you first came to the Ijtima’a. The endeavours of youth who believed in Jesus, on whom be peace, endured oppression for three centuries with patient steadfastness and sought Allah’s guidance and this is recorded in the Holy Quran (Ch 18: V 11 - 15). Their stance was that they could not turn away from God Almighty. That same example is being displayed by the oppressed Ahmadi youths and you must remember them in your prayer and at the same time fulfill your pledge.

The Promised Messiah says: “Most people pay little attention to purity of heart, true love of the Devine, true sympathy with His creatures, gentleness, mercy justice, meekness and all other pure moral qualities like righteousness, cleanliness and truth which are the spirit of religion. It is a matter of regret that that religious contentions are on the increase, but spirituality is declining. The real purpose of religion is to recognize God Who has created the universe and to arrive in His love at a stage where the love of everything else is burnt up and to have sympathy with His creature and to put on the garment of true purity. The recognition of God Almighty has sadly declined and for this reason boldness in committing sin is increasing.” (Lecture Lahore)

A true believer constantly tries to attain God’s pleasure for an increase in belief and guidance. He shuns sin as it is an evil that removes him away from his Creator. Righteousness leads one to attain the pleasure of God. God Almighty also strengthens the belief of those who spend their energies and efforts in propagating the faith and Unity of God. God teaches new ways of those who seek His pleasure and continually work for it. Remember, belief is not just verbal utterance but a practice that should continue. A true believer avoids lame excuses and plays heed to all the commandments of God. The Holy Quran says: And those who, when they are reminded of the signs of their Lord, fall not deaf and blind thereat. (Ch. 25: 74). One sign of a believer is observance of Salat. Our progress and triumphs are associated with prayers. The most excellence source of prayers is Salat and without it belief and Unity of God cannot be established.

May Allah the Exalted enable us all to promulgate the spirit of selfless sacrifice offered by Companions of the Holy Prophet صلي الله عليه وسلم so that we can witness the victory of Islam in our own lives.

I also pray that this year’s Ijtima’a is a success and enables the participants to strengthen their personal relations with Khalifa of the time. May Allah find you becoming a better Ahmadi Muslims each day. Amin.

Message for the Ijtima’a of Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya Uganda

O ye evergreen saplings of the Promised Messiah

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته

The Promised Messiah عليه السلام  was given the glad tidings that after his demise, in accordance with Allah’s promise “to those among you who believe and do good works that He shall surely make them Successors in the earth” (Ch. 24: V. 56) and in accordance with the prophecy of the Holy Prophet Muhammad صلي الله عليه وسلم , such Khilafat would continue till the end of times. The institution of Khilafat is a great blessings bestowed upon our Jama’at that distinguishes our community from others. The success of Khuddam lies in not only doing good works, but vying with each other in spreading the message of Islam throughout this country, in serving mankind in a variety of ways and thus earning the pleasure of Allah. You should fast to the rope of Allah and ensure that all of you adhere to the institution of Khilafat with unquestioning absolute obedience to Nizam Jama’at.

Time and again I have been reminding the Khuddam to be regular in observing the five daily prayers and a far as possible in congregation. You have just been through the blessed month of Ramadhan and you must not let go of the training you acquired during this month.

May Allah make these relations with Khilafat and between the members grow stronger and may their closeness to Allah grow nearer. May Allah enable us all to maintain a high standard of discipline through absolute loyalty and obedience to this blessed institution of Khilafat. Amen
